PADI Open Water Diver
The PADI Open Water Course is the first major step in learning to scuba dive. It teaches you all the basic
concepts about scuba diving, how to breathe underwater and what precautions to take while diving. This program is designed to be fun and exciting and to teach you how to dive safely. You will be internationally recognized as a diver at the end of your course!
If you are 10 years or older you can become a PADI Open Water diver (junior certification from 10 -14 years). You need to have a basic standard of health and be prepared to have lots of fun!
The course will take approximately 4 - 5 days to complete covering all the academic sessions, pool and sea dives. The course can also be done part time over weekends and two evenings in the week or as a full time course running Monday to Friday.
We include the latest academic materials to make the important diving theory easy to understand. Your own DVD allows you to watch the supporting information to your lectures in the comfort of your home.
The cost of the Open Water course with your manual and DVD is R3145
When you sign up for your course you will receive all your course materials. We include in the course fee the hire of all your diving equipment. You will also have a free boat dive at the end of your course with us.
